In 1978, Ron Stroeder opened his dream shop, Ron Stroeder’s Automotive and Machine shop in Mildmay, Ontario. Servicing cars & light/heavy duty trucks and machine shop needs. He became part of the community there and grew his business. In 2007, Ron decided to move operations to our current location 435 Sideroad 5 South, Walkerton, Ontario. Moving into this much larger facility allowed him to service the needs of his many customers.

 

 

On May 1, 2017, Ron passed the day-to-day operations of Stroeder Truck & Trailer onto his son, Dustin Stroeder. We now specialize in full line service and repairs for medium/heavy duty trucks and trailers. Dustin has brought his passion for diesel trucks to the shop, updating and upgrading the shop, to better serve our area customers from fleets to individual diesel trucks. You can often find Dustin not only running day to day operations but in the shop working on the trucks right alongside his employees. Dustin looks forward to carrying on the family business and continuing to serve our valued customers.
